during the work week i'm at 5am, drinking coffee and reading the news before i leave for the day this morning, however, i finished all of that earlier so i could watch a 30-minute, short documentary on amc's fearfest - movies that shook the world: the exorcist

noooooo!!!!!! you cant watch it on TV, they butcher it, get the DVD and watch it uncut, unedited alone in the dark......

i have it on VHS but that box was lost during the move but i do agree they did cut out a TON of the good stuff

earlier, i watched america's scariest halloween attractions i'm currently watching most terrifying places in america and will later see american haunts - all on the travel channel

MY HALLOWEEN EVE FESTIVITIES

tomorrow, i get out of school at noon

i'll pass by this huge halloween store which i recently noticed on broadway



then it's over to central park for a nice reading break on a bench at the mall (i'm finishing up salem's lot)



and a leisurely stroll through the ramble





on my way to a free haunted house at belvedere castle @ 4pm http://tinyurl.com/yzbqdzd



followed by a trip downtown for a new, indie horror movie titled the house of the devil http://tinyurl.com/yhl258e @ the angelika film center


afterwards i shall visit a local bar for a cocktail



then return home to watch george romero's 1978 classic dawn of the dead on dvd



then the amityville horror on amc's fearfest @ 10:30pm et

it was a great halloween eve not everything went as planned but it was still fun i went by the halloween store for a few minutes got tied up at home for a while, then left for central park stopped at best buy on the way, however, and bought drag me to hell finally made it to my beloved central park sat on a bench at the mall for an hour, read salem's lot, and watched the peeps pass by while the leaves fell i walked through the ramble to belvedere castle, but the line for free haunted house was way too long and not moving i headed to the subway, but the trains running under central park west weren't running downtown so i caught a cab and went to the village for THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL, which was very slow until the end more of a pysch thriller than horror, in my opinion loved the early 80s feel and look i would describe it as rosemary's baby meets john carpenter's halloween babysitter it was ok - 6 out of 10 since my girl is out of town until tomorrow, i opted out of the bar stop and just came home for a stiff drink i think i'll table dawn of the dead until tomorrow i'm about to heat up some leftover chinese and pop drag me to hell in the dvd player if i don't finish it by the time amityville horror comes on fearfest, i'll finish it after tomorrow at 7am ET, amc's fearfest is airing movies that shook the world: the blair witch project
