Each and every day of the month of October is filled with a schedule of great horror films. So, each day I'll post my list of movies that I'm watching, including times (which for me actually starts in the A.M., given I work evenings, but obviously works on a P.M. schedule if anyone else feels inspired enough to do the same).
Monday, October 1 – Fundamental Classics
7:00 --- Dracula (1931, 75 mins.)
8:15 --- The Mummy (1932, 73 mins.)
9:30 --- The Invisible Man (1933, 71 mins.)
10:45 --- Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1932, 98 mins.)
12:15 --- The Wolfman (1941, 70 mins.)
1:30 --- The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954, 79 mins.)

Ever notice how AMC usually plays the middle of the Halloween series? Parts 4,5, and 6. I wonder why those are the Halloween films AMC runs with?

I don't know the specifics, but I'm sure it has to involve who actually owns those films. After III, Carpenter had little if anything to do with the Halloween movies.
Thus, the following 4, 5 and 6 were Michael Myers exploitation films, lol.
I LOVED AMC before they went to commericals and editing, and now rarely watch the channel. Even when I do, I'm not even able to record some of the classics they broadcast on Fridays (Earth vs. the Spider, etc.), which I find frustrating and thus a waste of time.

12:30 --- The War of the Worlds (1953, 85 mins.)

Friday, October 5 – Freddy Friday
7:00 --- A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984, 91 mins.)
8:30 --- A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 3: Dream Warriors (1987, 96 mins.)
10:15 --- A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 5: The Dream Child (1989, 89 mins.)
11:45 --- Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991, 105 mins.)
Notes: The first entry in Wes Craven's horror franchise really is a classic, but may not be regarded as such in retrospect for some odd reason; maybe because Freddy became a wiseguy, one-liner. ... Part 2 is just a really, really bad movie (I've watched it only twice, the second time to confirm my initial reaction). ... "Dream Warriors" has the benefit of the Dokken theme song, lol, but is a good, scary ride. ... "Dream Master" is good, but for time purposes is omitted in favor of "The Dream Child", solely because it's here we learn Freddy is the bastard son of a thousand maniacs (explains SO much).

No ... from the private vault of Uncle Poe, either on DVD or VHS ... my own personal month-long, daily Halloween marathon.
Just sharing the line-up.
