Hello everyone!!!

Starts in July, I am going to select one of the best member of the month of this Halloween.com forum! I am going to send a FREE DVD to one of the best members here! Well, I can't tell you who is the best member of the month at this time because I have to wait and see till next month.

Good lucky and keep posting as many as you can!

HM, I might wanna rethink that idea if I were you. My gut feeling just kind of tells me that might be a bad idea.

At the very least, you might want to put it to a vote.

HM, I have to say that I agree with OEJ, I don't think selecting anyone as the "best member" sounds cool at all. I thought we we're all here just for fun and to buddie up and chat Halloween, not compete with anyone?
If I were you I'd do like OEJ said and at the very least put it to a vote. But I have to admit, I'd be surprised if anyone would participate in a contest like this, I know I wouldn't. I'm not trying to shoot you down or anything like that ok. I'm just saying I don't see anyone here as greater or less then anyone else, I see everyone as equal spooky spirits here. But do as you like, I'm just letting you know that I wouldn't participate even if it was a poll. Just my personal feelings thats all. So don't take offense to my feelings ok.

I have to say I also agree with OEJ and DOD. I have fun knowing we are all on the same playing field, competition might get ugly and unfair. I mean what would determine someone's ability to "win" - the number of posts? Length of time joined? Just your likability of them?

I think giving out a DVD is a neat idea but perhaps have a contest of some sort and make it the prize. I'm glad we are thinking up new and exciting ideas to make our board interesting. But I don't want anyone to get resentful or such.

I too agree with OEJack. In fact, I'd be pretty bummed even if it went to a vote. We don't need a prom king or queen in our Halloween family. Savvy???

I think the results of a vote are pretty obvious, judging from this thread. I know I don't really care to compete with my friends here in a contest of some arbitrary rules. It's like trying to judge who's the best viewer in a movie theater, everyone is there because they want to see the movie, not to show they're a better movie goer than anyone else.

I know I'm a little late weighing in, but I agree with the rest of the crew, we're just here for the sheer love of Halloween, not to compete with each other. So I agree, just drop it for now. But thanks for trying to keep things interesting.

We're all here to just have a lot of fun sharing what we love with everybody else.

EVERYONE brings something special and genuinely unique to this table and, speaking for myself, I'm honestly proud to have become a part of such a wonderful group of people......

Now, if we want to vote on FORUM of the YEAR......
