A friend of a friend had to get rid of two ground foggers, three fog machine timers, and several jugs of fog juice, so I got them all for free!! One of the machines needs a new pump though... Anybody ken where to get a fog machine pump for cheap?

from another fog machine..........Good luck on that, if it's one of those cheap ones like at spirit, party city, etc, you might as well just toss it, if it's a real brand name try their web site, but they arent cheap

even if you have to toss it, you're still ahead more then you were yesterday right?

oh, and just FYI, those ground foggers dont work very well anyway, pretty much useless as a ground fogger, so, you didnt lose much

The timers alone are like a free $75 bucks. But I'm gonna find a pump. I already opened up the machine and took out the pump. I even took it apart to try to re-attach the wire that was out of it. It doesn't look all that complex... I should be able to find a part somewhere. And when I put an icepack in the cooling chamber of the other one, it seemed to work pretty good.

That's the timer... I got three of them, and they even work with my old foggers. The machines are a bit different, but probably not by much.

Right. So I need a micro solenoid pump. It looks like it should cost about five bucks. Why are they so hard to find? There's a dude in my town who deals in appliance parts who I went to when I needed to put a new intake valve on the dishwasher. I bet he can find me a micro solenoid pump!

When I open my Halloween Store/Restaurant, that's something I'm gonna stock by the caseload. Micro solenoid pumps. So that everyone who's ever owned a fog machine who just wanted to repair it for under ten bucks can get a replacement pump.
