I still like the one-armed violinist.(nsfw)

I love that movie because it takes you back to much simpler times. In fact, I'm gonna watch it again tonight.

Yeah, Johnny Depp, and anything with Morgan Freeman in it gains my approval. Being a religious person you may be taken aback by it, but you also have an open mind so you may be as intrigued as I am. I'm definitely drawing some parallels. Of one thing I'm certain, artificial intelligence is coming, I just hope we have some form of control over it and don't end up with a Skynet future.

When you do watch it I would be curious about your take on the ending, when Max goes and looks at the flower.
Whenever I get around to it, I'll let you know.

My older son is a mathematician. He says AI is for sure on its way, and sooner than we think. He hasn't given me any details, but he has led me to believe that it's going to shake up our world, and maybe also our assumptions about humanity.

First episode of Now and Again. Still would like to see a movie that shows what ultimately happened to the gang, even though the actors are so much older.

Michael Wiseman: Can I fly?

Dr. Theodore Morris: What?

Michael Wiseman: Can I fly? You know, like, uh, Superman?

Dr. Theodore Morris: Mr. Wiseman, over the past 6 months we've performed a complicated series of operations. I'm tempted to call them transplants, but in truth, there is no "you" to transplant them to. Let's call them operations. In fact, let's agree that you have been the recipient of some of the most sophisticated surgical thinking and practice in the history of medicine. In addition, you have been inoculated with and intravenously fed over 700 highly experimental and, I believe extraordinarily promising hormones, steroids and vaccines that also were developed uniquely for you in this project. Now I mention all that because, and I'm embarrassed to admit it, that in the midst of all those surgeries, all those implant procedures, all the beta trials, tests, failures and successes... it just never occurred to any of us to shove a rocket up your arse. No, I'm sorry... you can't fly.

[Michael stares at beautiful woman standing by the curb]

Dr. Theodore Morris: You can't see through peoples' clothes either.

I remember that show! We liked it.

I just finished watching the most recent episode of Grimm.

A Merry Friggin' Christmas on, On Demand.

I don't think it's in theaters as it's one of Robin Williams last movies, and given the circumstances of his death it's a little hard to watch, but still hss some truly laugh out loud moments.

I watched Nick get his Grimm back last night.

Why was Constantine showing a Halloween episode at Thanksgiving?

Waiting for our friends back east to upload tonight's mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. Currently watching a possible vision of mankind's future. Maybe your grandkids Witchy? Check it out. See if you recognize the voice of the narrator. Don't peek!

Dang it! I wish Chromecast supported Vimeo. Would like to see this on the big screen. Maybe a Chrome tab cast?

Nooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[sniffle sniffle] I can't believe they did that! I absolutely refuse to watch Walking Dead again till at least February. Only thing that softens the blow is that Morgan is coming back. He better be a good guy. You hear me Kirkman! Good guy!

Yup! Sagan. He was in the original Cosmos. DeGrasse Tyson was in the more recent one. I'm trying to get a movement going for them to make another Cosmos series with Bill Nye as the lead. That would be so cool.

Beth was a very popular character because she brought an innocence to the show that none of the current characters have.

As for Bill Nye, he isn't even a scientist. Tyson is just as big of a joke.

Sort of spoiled it for those who haven't seen it yet, haven't you?

As for Nye & Tyson, what's it have to do with them being scientists? They bring science to the masses, just like Sagan did.
