Nye, in particular, doesn't do anything but spread lies and propaganda.
Tyson got in trouble for attributing comments to Bush, that were never said and still hasn't apologized for it.

Daughter and I spent much of yesterday watching Ken Branagh's Hamlet (she had a project due). We love this version of the play, although many people find fault with it. We cannot figure why they are dissatisfied. Branagh is excellent, and Derek Jacobi (as Claudius) is even better.

My copy of Amazing Grace got scratched, so I bought a new one and we have watched it several times this week. Such a great movie. Last night, though, I watched Grimm.

That's eerie. I watched the Fellowship of the Ring extended edition on Christmas Eve and am watching The Two Towers right now. I guess, watching the trilogy is somewhat of a tradition in December because there isn't much else on and I have time.

I just watched Rare Exports on Christmas night, after hearing so much about it. It is definitely interesting.
Andy, a few years ago I saw a spanish film called A Christmas Tale. I recommend it.
I just searched for it and the only thing that comes up is a French film. The film I saw is about three twelve year olds that trap a thief in a hole in the ground in the woods and develops from there. And it does take place at Christmas. In fact, Christmas is integral to the story.

Well, we finally finished LOTR, so my kids were on to something else. Daughter had requested a DVD of Spirited Away, a Japanese animated movie that got a lot of awards some years back. My kids had once had a VHS copy, but I had never watched it. Yesterday she requested that I watch it with her, so I did. It was kinda weird! Not bad, just odd in the way that most Oriental stories strike me. Some aspects of this reminded me of Western fairy tales, but then the transformations among certain characters were just so surreal, they sort of went beyond what I am used to in Western lore.

Just started the Simpson's Treehouse of Horror playlist, now that they've finally fixed the Simpsons World website so that I can cast it to the TV.

I watched Grimm last night, and one episode of Justified on DVD.
