Well speaking of Christmas, I actualy started my Christmas house cleaning yesterday when I was off for Veterens Day. It's still not my favorite holiday, but I know I am going to love having the little ones over for my Tree Trimming Party.

Looks like Santa's lost a lot of weight. I wonder if he went with the lap band or a gastric bypass.
Well I got my leaves mulched, and my dining room Christmas cleaned. Tonight I do the bathroom, and wash all the dining room furnature before I put it back in the dining room.

I am not a huge christmas fan. Every year I have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the season. LOL

I'm hoping for dry weather this holiday weekend. I plan on putting up all of the outside lights on Friday.

I will be puttint up most of my Christmas decorations after I put the Advent Wreath together, which will be this Saturday. I am actualy putting up my tree on Saturday the 4th.

Christmas is not my favorite holiday, but I don't think I would skip it all together. I would, however, skip post Christmas Winter, particularly January and February if I had my druthers.

Yeah, I might not skip it altogether. I do love christmas eve, a nice warm fire, the presents all wrapped. The rush is over.

I agree. I love Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I like getting togetehr with my family on Christmas Day, and I love a Christmas fire in my fire place.
As for the snow, I don't mind that so much as I do the doldrums and the boredom of those two very long months. January and February are like two solid months of Mondays. There's very little to look forward to during those months. Even the holidays for those months are nothing to really get excited about. No belove traditions like we have for other times of the year, like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter, 4th of July or Christmas. Just a very drab, bland daily grind. BORING!!! I do watch the Charlie Brown Valentines Day specials in Feb, but beyond that, I wish we could skip right from December to March.

Mike, I only like spring, summer and autumn seasons. 
But, for winter season is okay.... Do you like sausage balls? I love them so much!!
