Found these footprints when we Halloween hunting last weekend! They lead from a cabinet, across the dining room and up the wall. Pretty awesome for a dollar.

I know some of you have posted threads similar to this one, but just thought I'd give this one a bump. Was in Michael's about a week before July 4th, and noticed some fall leaves on the end of one of their isles. Not a whole lot, and not Halloween in particular, but it was just enough to remind me that we are getting close. I'm enjoying summer and not wishing it to fly by too quickly, but I'm certainly starting to get that little itch.

Same here vrb, I'm not wanting to rush summer away either. That's a nice find!
At dollar tree I spotted some fall related pumpkins and stuff. Mostly they're for Thanksgiving (I still don't see why they are putting the Thanksgiving stuff out before the Halloween stuff, but maybe that's because more people are celebrating the fall harvest over Halloween. To each their own I suppose

)
I also looked at a little Avon book someone had laying around at work. There were a few things in there for Halloween including a black cat that had light up LEDs, a witch hat which I believe played the Addam's family theme song, and there was a spooky light up candle:

Found it on the website to show.

Howdy all...I know every year I say I'm going to check in more and then never do...alas. Anyway to the point a few weeks ago I spotted some fall themed cookies in Stop & Shop which while I'm not ready for fall yet started kindling my excitement for Halloween to arrive.

Welcome back!
I'm enjoying my summer also and am not ready for it to end yet, but I am starting to see hints of autumn in the craft stores, at least.

Finally Walmart's getting some of the decorations and costumes out aside from just the candy! But to be honest I think the Dollar Tree has a better selection of items over all. (And more bargain for your buck!)
I found a bag of Cheetoes Bag of Bones, and I didn't get a chance to try them last year, so I'm going to try them this year. On the back of the bag they are apparently holding a "Design a Pumpkin" contest. I wonder if I should enter? The prize is $1000. Wow! That would help me out a lot right now.

Getting close now. Its past the point of just seeking early Halloween displays in the back of stores. I just saw my first Halloween commercial tonight. The horseless headsman trick or treat snickers commercial. Nice to know the rest of the country is coming into Halloween time too.
Good night, everyone.

I've seen that commercial as well! And a few others. Good Will is advertising that they are the best place to go for Halloween costumes. I had already discovered Good Will for this purpose several years ago, but they are smart to advertise about it.
