We had been having a cool summer up until a few days ago. Now it's around 100 every day like normal. *SIGH*

Made it to the low 70's today, practically a scorcher for this summer.
I took a walk around one of the pastures and was delighted to find that two red oak trees are starting to show off their autumn colors!!

Some more.
The smaller of the 2 trees has one single cluster of fully changed leaves. The contrast of the red and green make it appear fake, even when you're standing right in front of it.
The bright orange is a new surprise this year. Usually they go red-red with a touch of gold. I was very happy to see orange.

Thanks. It helps to have purdy surroundings to work with. Of course another of my favorite subjects is urban decay, so it's not sunshine and lollipops.

I can't believe it, it's suppose to be high 81 degrees this Wednesday and the low 59, I can't wait!!! I am sooo ready for fall!!!

Right now it's sunny and 89 degrees. I was going to take the bike to work today like I did yesterday, but I had a photo shoot off Campus, and I promised to give a couple of our External Relations people a lift, so I had to take the car.
Sadly, and Hapily, because I allways have mixed feelings about the end of Summer, this is the last full week of August. September begins a week from tomorrow. While I am sad to see Summer go, I am chomping at the bit to start preparing the house for Halloween.
