Vinyl Me Please is selling a limited edition 180 gram vinyl pressing of the music from "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown." I am going to order my copy as soon as my next pension check posts. I think this might even be lacquered directly from the original master tapes, too. Can't wait to spin that one!

Cool, Mike :)

I'd be torn between playing it or preserving it.

My sound track album to "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" is on it's way. I also have the soundtrack to "John Carpenters Halloween" coming. Both on vinyl. I can't wait.

Are either of them colored vinyl, or just black?

Both are colored. The "Great Pumpkin" is vine leaf green, and the "John Carpenters" is a candy corn color mixture. Both are also lacquered from the original master tapes. Colored vinyl is highly collectible, but I also have a few albums that were lacquered from the original master tapes and at 45 rpm, which makes for great sound. I have a box set of "The Cars, The Elektra Years" on colored vinyl, but I would LOVE to get those albums in a 45 rpm rendition. I do love colored vinyl, but when it comes down to it, the way records sound are more important then the way they look.

Everyone needs more Halloween Music. I make a yearly Halloween Mix, that always includes a few originals and covers by me, and blog about it.

There are some great songs posted here, and I have most of them downloaded, but I still like to play halloweenradio.net when I'm at home or work. They stream Halloween music through the year, they have radio stations that play a variety of music including oldies, modern, soundtracks from movies, kids songs, and sound effects. It's free and there are no commercials, only station ID between songs, you can check the link below.
