Not sure how I missed this or how this turned into a Batman thread...but I enjoyed the Burton films and the Nolan films a lot...but for Style, feel and technique I thought Batman Dead End was right on...
But would love to see a big budget movie with a Batman like that. Keaton also rocked as Batman/Bruce Wayne...thought he nailed it pretty well.

Now...back to the topic at hand...yes, I have used Ouija boards and nothing 'good' came out of it. It seemed to work and spell things out then a friend of ours died and the board said it was it that caused it...never touched it again after that. Was it true? I doubt it and I don't know but figured it best not to tempt fate.
Was really freaked out after that...

That is very scary, Midnight-Shadow, but I'm not suprised. When ever you open your mind to the realm of spirits, there's no telling what kind of a spirit will reach out to you. Most likely it will be an evil spirit. Of course I do base that on my religious beliefs, but I have heard too many horror stories about ouija boards and seances. I, myself, had a rather significant fright when I was about 8 or 9 years old, because of the "Mary Worth" phenominom that sweapt our neighborhood back then. I did not actualy see or hear anything, but I did experience stone cold fear as I got closer and closer to the 7th recitation of the words "I believe in Mary Worth." I never finished reciting that 7 times, because I got too hinkey. To this day, I have not done it, and never will.
When I spoke to one of my parish priests about it, he admonished me to NEVER open my mind to the realm of spirits. I took him at his word, and you will never see a ouija board in my house, nor will I allow my nieces to hold a seance there. She wanted to hold a seance because of the haunting stories about my house, and I told her HO WAY JOSE!

have you ever set a camera up in your house (like in paranormal activity) to see what happens?

LOL Spooky. That would likely be my luck.
Adrien, to answer your question, no. I have not set up a camera in my house, and I have doubts about these stories that I was told being true. The house is 100 years old, and it's possible that there is a lot of psychic enengy, but as I said before, I am just not sensitive or prone to those kind of sightings. I lived in that house for 13 years, so if I was ever going to experience any hauntings or paranormal activity, I would have experienced it a long time ago. As for cameras and picture taking, nothing out of the ordinary ever appeared on any film, video or digital stills that I shot there either.
My niece claims that she feels the presence of a ghost, and that's why she wanted to hold a seance with some of her Wiccan friends, but I told her no in no uncertain terms.

That Witches Greave Yard is definately on my "to do " list for Haunted Road Trips. The only thing is, I'll have to do it during the Summer months instead of October because of my work place. I do plan to make two more Haunted Road Trips next October, however. That's all part of my Halloween TRADITION.
