Fond memory

In 2003 while traveling across Texas in the middle of open range and during a texas thunderstorrm, I freaked some drivers out.

My brother was driving actually, and we were moving me to Phoneix.

So I threw the blanket I was using to stay warm with over my head and let my arm hang out the passenger side window of his rust orange ford ranger.

Then I went limp. Everytime my brother slowed down, I slumped forward. Every time he accelerated, I fell back into the seat.

My brother said some drivers were genuinely freaked out thinking he was some crazy guy transporting a corpse in the passnegers side of his truck.

Good times.

You have a healthy sense of humor, NOS. I sure would have freaked out - probably even alerted the authorities! Reminds me of when I was about 17 years old and there was a serial rapist on the loose in our area targeting lone female drivers. I had a life-sized, stuffed St. Bernard I won at a local fair that I would dress in a T-shirt and Yankees cap. He would pose as my "passenger" in an effort to stay safe while driving alone. There were a few times my co-pilot attracted some attention but I was strangely comforted by his presence during that particular crime spree. I haven't thought about "Barney" in years. :)

Nos, that is hilarious! Were you moving from Texas? You may have told me that already, or posted it somewhere else, but I'm at work and don't have time to check for it right now.
